OBJECTIVES AND JOB OPPORTUNITIESS
The Department of Civil Engineering educates engineers capable of designing, constructing and managing work in Building, Civil Engineering and Main Services fields.
LINKS WITH INDUSTRY
The professional integration of the Polytech civil engineers, both at national and international level, takes place in all the various domains of civil engineering (buildings, roads, equipment, etc.) : consulting offices, control offices, companies, administrations, education and research.
RESEARCH OPENINGS
Teaching staff from the Department of Civil Engineering are also involved in research within the LERMES laboratory (Laboratoire dEtudes et de Recherches en MEcanique des Structures) of Blaise Pascal University.
FUTURE DEVELOPMENT AND DIVERSIFICATION
The staff are also presently greatly involved in the new Department of Architecture and Building Engineering which will require extra human ressources and will complete the training offer of Blaise pascal University in the fields of design, computation and realization, management and assessment in Buildings and urban Equipment.
